HANDMADE IN ITALY

The Bonne Nuit is perfect for keeping water at your bedside during the night. This two-piece set comes with a classic Luisa Acqua Glass and a complementary carafe that stack together to create a modern silhouette.

Story

This glassware is crafted from Swiss borosilicate glass, known for its pure, durable quality. Borosilicate glass is some of the most resilient glass in the world; known for its incredible ability to withstand extreme temperature changes without cracking or scratching due to the low thermal expansion in the chemical structure of the glass.

The pieces are shaped using traditional mouth blowing technique; the innovation of design comes from modern shapes inspired by aesthetics of rationalist and modernist architecture whilst respecting its functionality. The result gives each piece a simple elegance.

These special pieces were crafted in a workshop run by third-generation glassblowers called R+D Lab in Italy. Made entirely by artisan hands, each piece is unique and has been created to stand the test of time—both in terms of their timeless design and their unequivocal durability. If handled with care, they will last a lifetime.

Product Care

The Fog Grey product is dishwasher safe at all temperatures and settings. The Carmine Red/Cameo Pink product is to be hand-washed; when hand washing, use a soft non-abrasive sponge and mild dish liquid.

R+D.LAB is an Italian creative studio founded in 2006 by Jay Vosoghi & Sara Mostofi. They unite modern aesthetics, traditional manufacturing and purposeful design to create homeware pieces informed by architecture, art, and design.

Complimenting their collection of glassware are their equally as impressive collections of earthenware ceramics and fine textiles. These collections are all handmade from pure, high-quality materials, and the designs are inspired by colours and shapes that are reminiscent of aesthetics from classic eras. Crafted in a third-generation workshop in Italy, each piece is unique and has been created to stand the test of time.
