Our incredible Mexican ceramic artisans are not only master craftsmen, but they also offer a training program for young workers with no formal experience – giving them a reason to stay in their village and carry on these traditions.
They offer social security, vacations, Christmas bonus, constant training, industrial safety conditions, and annual contracts – benefits that are not often guaranteed to the people of Mexico. They give back heartily to their community, which is a pillar of Obakki’s platform when choosing our artisans. And we love their high-temperature ceramic work, all made from original designs.
