Eye of the Needle Serving Tray
HANDMADE IN CANADA
A beautiful serving board made from reclaimed wood and stained without the use of any chemicals—it’s time to elevate your charcuterie game.
Crafted using upcycled oak wood and completed with a 5-step finishing process, these serving boards get their unique stained-black colour when the wood’s natural tannins react with a simple application of iron oxide. Beautifully aged wood reinvented into a handcrafted heirloom piece that’s ready to start new traditions with.
North Vancouver-based designer Alexis Dodd is the creative force behind Steelwood Design. Working with her father in their family studio they craft each piece together by hand using woodworking skills that clearly run in the family. Their goal is to create functional art for the home kitchen all while emphasizing the importance of sustainable, local design.
