This Pellizco rug is generational, handmade by maestro Tito and his grandson. Dyed and woven with locally sourced materials around Mexico City, this Pellizco rug was made with a hand loomed wool that is naturally soft and exceptionally thick, creating the perfect rug for modern living. This rug compliments contemporary or classic spaces - and creates the perfect textural addition to any living space.

Txt.ure, a cooperative based in Mexico City is a collaborative design cooperative highlighting the functional and aesthetic qualities of Mexican folk furniture and design. They revive lost fragments and narratives of Mexican design history with an emphasis on craftsmanship and preservation of historical techniques.

Their goal is to bring these almost-forgotten Mexican classics to the attention of contemporary design space, and for users around the world to appreciate their craftsmanship and history. And appreciate the incredible ancestral knowledge that has contributed to this Mexican craftsmanship.

The production time needed prior to shipping is generally 12-14 weeks on rugs, but may vary by item.  Due to the custom weaving and limited nature of these pieces, all rugs are final sale. This item does not qualify for free shipping or local pickup. A flat rate shipping fee will be applied during checkout.
