Story
Perfect as a gift, our brass candle holders come packaged in a reusable wooden box. Our range of brassware objects have been handcrafted with a solid weightiness and warmth that can only be achieved through expert craftsmanship, and over time the patina will get deeper and richer.
Produced in one of the oldest brass foundries in Japan, the complex and lengthy process to create each piece has remained virtually unchanged for the past 400 years.

Product Care
Wipe with a soft cloth after use. Brass and copper products are subject to rust. To remove rust, mix salt and vinegar in equal parts, wet cloth with the solution and apply directly on to the affected area. Caution: Do not use an abrasive sponge or wire wool as it may scratch the product.

In 1916, this factory was founded to manufacture Buddhist ritual objects, Japanese tea sets and vases made of brass and bronze. These master metal artists now create unique objects for the home using ancient methods that have remained virtually unchanged.
