Keeper of the Flame
A legacy of light, passed down through generations

In the small town of Teotitlán de Valle, Doña Viviana Alávez has spent a lifetime mastering the art of beeswax candle-making. Now in her eighties, she still hand-pours each candle, layer by layer, using techniques inherited from generations before her. Her work is rooted in tradition and shaped by a lifetime of devotion.
A Family Tradition Rekindled
Artistry that supports a village and a future

Though she once left candle-making behind, Viviana returned with a vision that changed everything. Her signature floral candles revived an age-old craft and inspired a new chapter for her family and community. Today, she is preparing to pass on her knowledge to her sons—ensuring the flame continues to burn.

Pure Beeswax, Pure Beauty
Crafted by hand with time and intention

Made from 100% Chiapas beeswax, Viviana’s candles are known for their rich, natural scent and slow, even burn. Each one is a sculpted work of art—shaped by hand and inspired by the petals of a rose. Whether gifted or lit in ceremony, they bring warmth, meaning, and beauty to every setting.
