clean water
Access to clean water improves health and frees up time—children can attend school, women can care for their families, and communities can grow food and sell surplus locally.
We believe in the potential of people. We support potential and our results are measured by the lives that are transformed. Everyone's story is unique and our programs are as diverse as the humans they benefit.
about us
Our approach to philanthropy is simple - we believe in people.
We support potential, and our results are measured by the lives that are transformed. Everyone’s story is unique, and our programs are as diverse as the people they benefit.
We partner with innovative individuals and communities around the world who are committed to creating meaningful change. We’ve reached close to 4 million people, and we’re just getting started.
At the Obakki Foundation, our projects are focused on the work, not defined by it. Rather than categorizing people in need, we empower them to transform their circumstances. By identifying gaps and strategically investing in sustainable solutions, we're able to facilitate real change in the following areas:
Access to clean water improves health and frees up time—children can attend school, women can care for their families, and communities can grow food and sell surplus locally.
We support farms and seed programs that feed individuals, families, and villages—helping children focus on school while communities earn a sustainable living.
We connect artisans to markets, helping them use their skills to improve their livelihoods. Through Obakki, we source ethical goods from artisans and co-ops, creating fair partnerships and global access.
We provide resources and opportunities to communities in need, helping children access education and build a path out of poverty for themselves and their families.
We provide income-generating training—especially for women—empowering people to build skills, start businesses, and uplift future generations.
We believe that success should be measured by the lives that have been changed. We focus on building partnerships with individuals and communities by focusing on potential. Together, we’ve helped close to 4 million people, and we’re just getting started.
With every project, we aim to address issues of infrastructure and access that communities face in order to arrive at more equitable circumstances. Here are some of our projects, both complete and ongoing, that are having a positive impact on communities.

When a weaving workshop in Morocco shut down, women in the High Atlas Mountains lost their income overnight. Through the Obakki Foundation, we are working to restart their weaving—preserving heritage Amazigh techniques while rebuilding income and restoring market access.
We couldn't do the work we do without the support of our corporate partners, sponsors and advocates. Our global community allows us to make impactful change.
