Rrres Design Studio, based in Oaxaca, Mexico, is a Latin American design studio dedicated to preserving and exploring traditional artisan techniques. Collaborating directly with local artisans, the studio uses regional materials to craft innovative pieces that honor the essence of local craftsmanship. From rugs and textiles to ceramics, sculpture, and furniture, each collection is born from deep relationships with artisans, blending cultural heritage with modern design.

Rrres Design Studio works in close collaboration with artisans, drawing from the deep well of traditional knowledge rooted in Oaxaca’s cultural landscape. Led by Javier Reyes and Melissa Ávila, the studio explores ancestral techniques while shaping new possibilities for contemporary design. Their work spans textiles, rugs, ceramics, sculpture, and furniture—each piece grounded in natural materials and developed through shared creative dialogue. Their approach begins with listening. Through long-term relationships with artisans, Rrres learns from lived experience, allowing each collection to evolve through collaboration. The result is work that honours heritage while opening space for new forms—where craft, culture, and contemporary design meet.
