Karim Molina
Karim Molina is a designer whose work unites sculptural form with the warmth of traditional Mexican craftsmanship. Guided by Latin, natural and primitive influences, she creates pieces that reflect both contemporary vision and the ancestral roots that shape Mexico’s creative landscape. Her process begins with material exploration, using woods like guayacán and tzalam, as well as marble and volcanic stone sourced from regions known for their time-honoured techniques.
Karim collaborates directly with artisans in Puebla, Veracruz and Yucatán, working with woodworkers, stone carvers and makers whose skills have been passed down through generations. Together, they create objects that respect the spirit of each material while elevating it through thoughtful design. In addition to her collections, Karim develops bespoke pieces, transforming ideas into detailed drawings, prototypes and finished works. Her creations reflect a shared pursuit of objects that feel timeless, intentional and deeply rooted.
