SUSTAINABILTY THAT SHINES
Imagine. Something so beautiful created from something forgotten and discarded.
This collection of jewelry is all created from cast-off objects. Pieces of cow horn that no one wants. Random brass pieces, found on the streets of Nairobi. Items that would otherwise sit in landfills for thousands of years. Our amazing artisan partners take this discarded material and turn it into sophisticated, sustainable jewelry.
Kibera, located in Nairobi, is known as a creative hub. It’s also one of the largest slums in the world.
Despite crushing poverty, Kibera has a thriving community of artists, dancers, craftsmen, and thousands of other talented residents…and that’s where we met Jack and his group of artisans. Under Jack's creative direction, they create beautiful pieces of modern jewelry by upcycling materials.
CREATING A FUTURE THROUGH CRAFT
This talented collective is looking to improve their quality of life through access to opportunities.
Jack and his artisans are not seeking a handout. They want business partners, access to international markets, and consumers who care about what they purchase.
