Story

Set your table in style with our new 100% linen table runner from the Italian atelier, R+D Lab. This exclusive studio creates homeware pieces informed by architecture, art, and design and their fabrics are handwoven with utmost care.

Linen is one of the most sustainable fabrics on the planet, not to mention one of the most luxurious. This frayed-edge table runner is handwoven using a hopsack weave, a loose basketweave style that adds a unique texture.

Hopsack linen is soft, breathable, and crease-resistant. Could it get any better?

Product Care

The more your linen is used and washed, the softer it will become. Wash on warm or cold, tumble on low or air dry only. Linen naturally has a relaxed look, but if you choose to, iron with steam on slightly damp fabric. For crisper consistency, please dry clean.

MEET THE ARTISAN

Italy

R+D.Lab

R+D.LAB is an Italian creative studio founded in 2006 by Jay Vosoghi & Sara Mostofi. They unite modern aesthetics, traditional manufacturing and purposeful design to create homeware pieces informed by architecture, art, and design.

Complimenting their collection of glassware is their equally as impressive collection of earthenware ceramics. Each piece from their dinnerware collection is handcrafted and glazed using traditions that date back centuries. Made from pure, high-quality materials, the design is inspired by colours and shapes that are reminiscent of the ceramic aesthetic of the 1970s.

The company prides itself on working closely with its artisans and craftsmen: “Together, we work as a team to create highly distinctive products that are functional, sustainable and meaningful for a modern life.”

Crafted in a workshop run by third-generation glassblowers in Italy and made entirely by artisan hands, each piece is unique and has been created to stand the test of time — in terms of design and durability.
