Sarah Espeute
Sarah Espeute is a French artist and designer whose embroidered linens transform everyday rituals into poetic works of art. From her studio in Marseille, she stitches stories of nature and shared meals—scenes of springtime, the sea, and the warmth of gathering around a table.
Each piece is handcrafted in France using traditional embroidery methods—some stitched entirely by hand in her Marseille atelier, others created on antique 19th-century machines in Paris. Both techniques have been passed down through generations of French artisans, preserving a heritage of skill and sensibility.
Through her studio, Œuvres Sensibles, Sarah bridges art and design, creating objects that are at once functional and emotional. Her work celebrates textiles as vessels of memory, beauty, and connection—restoring intimacy and meaning to the objects that shape daily life.
