Shea butter has been proven over centuries to help soothe, heal and restore elasticity to the skin. Nilotica shea hydrates, brightens, and evens out your skin tone as a single organic ingredient. 

In addition to vitamins A, E, K, and an abundance of Catechins, Nilotica shea contains 25% more oleic acid (one of the essential fatty acids) than standard African shea butter. Oleic acid is what gives shea butter its outstanding moisturizing capabilities, making it easier to spread and absorb into the skin or hair. These fatty acid components of shea also help protect the skin's natural oil barrier, which is essential for keeping skin hydrated and plump. 

Although the shea found in West Africa is far more popular and prevalent, Nilotica (found only in South Sudan and Northern Uganda) is the more rare and highly valued shea because of its superior moisturizing properties––it’s the gold standard.

In celebration of the planet and its raw ingredients, all of our packaging is a 100% compostable millboard, a by-product of paper production, making use of a material that would otherwise become waste.

Instructions For Use
