These head-turning pieces are created by a small family-owned Ukrainian ceramics studio that focuses on the exploration of how nature can inspire and inform the creative process. Now based in Amsterdam, these artisans use a special technique that involves molding clay into the desired shape and texture and then firing it at a high temperature to harden it. Each piece from this collection is intricate, unique, and truly handcrafted.

Natura Ceramica is a family-owned Ukrainian ceramics studio based in Amsterdam co-founded by master artisans Andriy and Olesya. Established in 2012 in the historic center of Uzhhorod, Ukraine, this creative studio is driven by a passion for creating unique ceramics inspired by nature. Using techniques that lean towards the experimental, they utilise materials such as wood and coal in the development of their collection that blurs the lines between craft and fine art. In 2022, Andriy and Olesya relocated their studio to the Netherlands, where they now carry out their practice.
