$30.00 CAD
HANDMADE IN JAPAN

There’s nothing quite like a gently flickering flame to enhance moments of relaxation. Pairs beautifully with our medium cast iron candle stand or our Geometric candle holder. Burn time: 110 mins per candle.

Story

Handmade by a family run business in Ishikawa, Japan who have been creating traditional Japanese candles, also known as 'wa-rousoku', in the same way since 1892.

These sustainable, vegan sumac candles are made from wax that is harvested from the fruit of the Japanese Haze tree. Their unique hollow wicks allow them to produce a bright, tall flame. The clean-burning candles are created in unique shapes inspired by the plants that grow in the region where they are made. Each shape is named after a letter of the word P-L-A-N-T.

This single totem candle pairs beautifully with our medium cast iron candle stand or our Geometric candle holder.
