A monitored member of the World Fair Trade Organization, this group provides a sustainable income for 120 people, 50% of whom are women. Staff members get time off to go to school, and employees receive pensions, paid vacation, maternity leave and medical coverage—all practically unheard of for similar employment in Ethiopia.
Their towels are not just environmentally friendly and luxurious. They are created from the principles that all people are valuable, and all trade must be fair.
