Obakki’s main mission is to support and expand our artisan partnerships, and to fund development work through the Obakki Foundation (our philanthropic counterpart). The foundation exists to ensure that our artisans have access to basic needs and the opportunity to grow, thrive and provide for their own communities.
Every purchase between Nov 22nd - Nov 29th will help us provide clean water through our Obakki Foundation programs.

RAIN CATCHMENT SYSTEMS
For years, the weavers in Tlamacazapa have been drinking dirty water from a hole in the ground - plagued by diseases, the community has not been able to focus on their craft. Our BLACK FRIDAY WATER FUND will help build more rain catchment systems in households so this community of weavers can focus on building their economy through their own livelihood.
Every purchase between Nov 22nd - Nov 29th will help us provide clean water to this region.
