Our Mexican artisan-partners are spread across Mexico – a country that is outlined in almost 10,000 km of coastline. Seven different climates, 32 states, and four oceans or seas along with jungles, mountains, and deserts make for a diversified land. Different local materials, different ancestors, and different cultures lead to very different skills and crafts in different regions.
We measure our success by the impact that we're able to achieve. With a sincere obligation to these communities we consistently ask ourselves: Have we been able to help our artisans reach their business goals, have we been a positive influence in the lives of our partners, have we protected the environment while doing so? Our direct connection allows us to continually monitor our supply chain and to evaluate these essential questions.
Our artisans are part of our extensive global family—and the ability to sustain themselves and their communities—will always be our top priority as a company.

TLAMACAZAPA, MEXICO: 100 RAIN CATCHMENT SYSTEMS
For years, the weavers in Tlamacazapa have been drinking dirty water from a hole in the ground - plagued by diseases, the community has not been able to focus on their craft. We saw an opportunity to help, and this year we implemented 100 rain catchment systems in households so they could focus on building their economy through their livelihood.
